Tanto en inglés británico como en inglés americano se emplea el adverbio de frecuencia
‘often’, si bien en inglés americano, es más común usaral principio de una frase.

Las preposiciones:los británicos prefieren utilizar

Algunas preposiciones varían, como ya hemos visto antes. Lo más común en inglés británico es decir ‘by accident’ y en inglés americano ‘on accident’, aunque ambos coinciden en que tirar vino en la camisa de alguien a propósito, sería “on purpose”. 🍷🙈
